Great 4th of July. Kristin and I went out to Astoria. Saw the lighthouse, all the old museums,etc. There was a homespun parade in Warrenton and good fun.

Arrived at Dorothea's house on Wednesday the 18th after a two day layover in Ashland.  While both Nikki the Cat and Sweetie the Cat were both anxious and happy to be out of the car... Nikki decided to go on her own adventure.  After a one week exhaustive search, I found myself out at midnight, in my bare feet and sarong, calling for Miss Nikki to come out from under the shed.  After touching noses with her sister, Sweetie, she found her usual space at my side and fell asleep.  Overjoyed to have her back!!
